Hairy mahang (En). Indonesia: hanuwa (Ambon), mara (Sundanese), tutup ancur (Javanese). Malaysia: kundoh, mahang puteh, tampu (Peninsular). Philippines: binunga (Filipino), himindang (Bikol), kuyonon (Bisaya). Thailand: hu chang lek (south-eastern), lo khao, mek (peninsular).
Distribution
From the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Indo-China to China, Taiwan, the Ryukyu Islands, Thailand, throughout the Malesian region towards northern Australia and Melanesia.
